York had hardly any idea of what had happened, finding himself crouching on the floor, gasping and grasping at his face with his hands. He had caught the sight of AM rushing away out of the corner of his vision, and that glance away was enough to allow the creature that stood before them to incapacitate him. Worse, it seemed it may have stolen his vision. It was unlike him to react to things with panic, but this was more than extreme. First was his foremost concern, D's safety, ahead even of his own.
